He became known as a media sensation after winning the second session of the famous Next Food Network Star Show. He is currently co-owner of three restaurants in California and since 2010 he has been the Face of Food Network.
Guy Fieri’s Family and Wiki
Guy Fieri was born on 22 January 1968 in Columbus, Ohio, USA, the son of Penny Anne, mother, and Lewis James Ferry, father. He grew up in Ferndale in the rural area of Humboldt County, California. He is American and of Italian descent (his paternal grandfather was of Italian descent). Fieri changed his surname Ferry back to his family’s original surname, Fieri or Fiery when he married Giuseppe Fieri in 1995 in honor of his immigrant great-grandfather Giuseppe Fieri.
During his time at Ferndale Elementary School, Fieri began washing dishes and selling pretzels with his “Awesome Pretzel” cart to finance his study trip to France. When he returned to the United States, he took a job at the Red Lion Inn in Eureka, California, which he held conscientiously until he left for college in Las Vegas.
After college, Fieri enrolled at the University of Nevada and graduated in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Management. He then worked at Stouffer’s as a manager for a California restaurant in Long Beach. He spent approximately three years in Southern California and rose to become District Manager of Louise’s Trattoria, where he managed six profitable locations for the company, as well as recruiting and training for the restaurant. Guy Fieri currently co-owns six other restaurants with his partner Steve Gruber. These include four Johnny Garlic’s in Santa Rosa, Windsor, Roseville, and Dublin, California, and two Tex Wasabi’s in Santa Rosa and Sacramento, California.
Guy Fieri’s Wife, Sister, Son, Kids
Guy has a biological sister; Morgan Fieri, who died in 2011 of metastatic melanoma, the most dangerous form of skin cancer. While she was alive, she was a massage therapist and philanthropist who worked in Mexican orphanages to prove it. She was also one of the founding directors of her brother’s foundation, the Guy Fieri Foundation for Inspiration and Imagination.
Guy Fieri is married to Lori Fieri, whom he met on her first visit to California in 1993. Among other things, Guy charmed her with his cuisine, which is not surprising anyway. The two are still happily married and spend a lot of time in love and trust, as there are currently no hints or obvious signs of divorce between the two.
The marriage of Guy and Lori Fieri has produced two sons: Hunter Fieri, born August 7, 1996, and Ryder Fieri, born December 31, 2005.
Guy Fieri’s Net Worth, Cars and House
Guy lives in Santa Rosa, California, where he is a passionate collector of American classic cars. His collections include a 1976 Jeep CJ-5, which was one of Guy’s biggest projects. The Jeep is almost 40 years old, but was rebuilt from the inside out and only had 55,000 miles on it.
His collection also includes a 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle, which is his most valuable collection, a 1969 Chevrolet Corvette, a 2006 Chevrolet Kodiak (NICKNAME: Full Bore) – it has an extra step leading down so that when Guy opens the door, he can get in. His son Hunter once drove it to a high school dance. He also boasts a $200,000 Lamborghini Gallardo. Most of the cars in his collection are yellow, so you can be pretty sure that yellow is one thing for him.
His home is a seven-hectare Mediterranean-style house near the North Bay town of Santa Rosa. The house is located on 2,300 square feet in a wine country retreat. It has three bedrooms, two full and one-half bathrooms, an elevated brick fireplace, and the abundant grounds include perennial gardens, olive trees, and an orchard with various fruit trees.
Guy earns a huge amount of money with his multi-talented talent as a restaurant owner, author, game show host, and TV star. His net worth is estimated at around $8.5 million, and with his growing popularity, this definitely won’t remain static for long.
