Julia Garner is a Jewish woman who was born the daughter of creative parents. Her mother was a comedian in Israel before moving to the United States where she became a therapist. Her father, Thomas Garner, is an art teacher. He is also a painter. Garner is a lifelong New Yorker since he was born there, on February 1, 1994, in Riverdale, The Bronx.
