Rupert is a very interesting character with an insatiable thirst for adventure; he has proudly shown his scars from incidents such as the fall of walls. One of the many scars on his body is one he got from a lion bite. When he was in Zimbabwe at the age of 14, he bravely stroked a sleeping lion. It backfired when the lion expressed his displeasure that his sleep was interrupted.
He is also an avowed technology addict and is usually very interested in the technology used in filming. His favorite devices are Tivoli audio digital radios, and he claims to have a DAB device in every room of his apartment. Rupert is also a big fan of computer games and admits that he was once addicted to Tiger Woods Golf. He said
I was up until 3 am every night and it ruined my life, so I had to go into cold turkey and give it up.
Although the internet is very extensive, Rupert refuses to ever search for himself on Google, as other celebrities usually do.
Rupert Evans Girlfriend, Dating, Gay
There has been much speculation about Rupert’s sexuality. One thing’s for sure: he’s not gay! He is one of the few celebrities who have successfully protected their private lives from the prying eyes of the media. He has never spoken openly about his love life in any interviews, except when he mentioned a girlfriend in passing when describing his love for video games. He said that his “girlfriend” was usually upset that he was addicted to games.
The only time he was seen at an event with a “date” was at the premiere of his appearance in the movie “Hellboy” on March 30, 2004, in Los Angeles. He walked the red carpet with actress Lyndsey Marshal, who was supposedly his girlfriend.
