Molly Rosenblatt was born in Rochester, Minnesota on February 21, 1989, the daughter of Morris Rosenblatt and Sadie Rosenblatt, where she also grew up. Details about her upbringing and early education are largely unknown, but we do know that she was interested in news moderation and weather reporting from a young age. As a teenager, she served as a weather reporter in her high school. For her college education, she attended the University of Minnesota, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcast journalism. She later enrolled at Mississippi State University in 2008 to study meteorology and graduated in 2011.

During her undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota, Molly Rosenblatt was given the opportunity to do an internship at a television station in Minnesota. After graduation, she gained her first work experience at KRTV, a CBS-affiliated television station in Great Falls, Montana. During her 15-month stint at this station between April 2006 and June 2008, she worked as a weekend weather forecaster and general-purpose reporter. She was then hired by KTSM-TV News Channel 9, an NBC-affiliated television station in El Paso, Texas. There she also served as a weekend weather forecaster and general-purpose reporter during her two and a half years of employment from July 2006 to December 2008.

Rosenblatt had worked for a much longer period as a meteorologist and weather reporter at WGNO ABC26, an NBC station in New Orleans, Louisiana. She worked in this position for four years between July 2009 and October 2013. Her next destination was the State of Florida, where she was hired by Fox 35 Orlando, WOFL-TV, a station owned and operated by Fox News. From October 2013 to November 2015, she served for two years and two months as the station’s morning meteorologist and traffic anchor.

In December 2015, Molly Rosenblatt joined WCCO-TV, a CBS-affiliated television station based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Her role as the channel’s weekend meteorologist and weather reporter lasted two years and eight months. Her employment with the station came to an abrupt end in July 2018, and no explanation was given for her departure. In contrast to her earlier days, when she easily moved from one job to another, Rosenblatt remained unemployed for quite some time, and as her LinkedIn profile shows, she seems interested in venturing into other aspects of the media industry.
