She Is Not Close To Her In-Laws
While Justine Karain’s parents are very close to her and her husband and often accompany him on his travels, Reed’s parents are alienated from the couple because they were not even invited to the wedding.
According to reports, the feud came about after Reed’s parents objected to their son Karain, who is four years older than him, marrying. They reportedly felt that the couple, and their son, in particular, were too young at the time to be legally bound. In another report, Reed’s parents’ aversion to Karain stems from their social media posts about her mental and physical abuse of the golfer. The position vacated by the former high school athlete was then filled by her brother Kessler Karain, who had no experience in this role. Kessler reportedly left his job in medical sales to take on the role he enjoyed and learned more about overtime. Since then, he has overseen his brother-in-law’s first major win at the 2018 Masters Tournament, where Reed had the chance to be the first player in the tournament’s history to complete four rounds in the 1960s, but still managed to score a 71.
