Julian Edelman is a famous American football player widely known for his exploits in the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL).
Edelman holds the Patriots’ franchise record for the longest return and most returned punt in touchdowns, which was a key figure in the team’s offense. This was evident in the playoffs and the Patriots’ two wins in the Super Bowl. His performance in the Super Bowl XLIX was first class, as was his fantastic catch in the Super Bowl LI, which contributed to the team’s victory.
Unfortunately, his 2017 season ended prematurely after he suffered an ACL injury during the New England Lions’ preseason game against the Detroit Lions and was therefore absent from the Super Bowl LII.
Julian Edelman – Bio
Julian Edelman was born on May 12, 1986, in Redwood City, California, the son of Angela and Frank Edelman. His ancestry is said to be Greek, English, Scottish, Irish, Ashkenazi-Jewish, and German. He was brought up as a Christian.
Edelman attended Woodside High School in California. After high school, he spent a year at the College of San Mateo before moving to Kent State University where he studied business administration.
Edelman began playing American football while still in high school. He was the quarterback for Woodside High School. In 2004 he led the school’s football team to a 13-0 victory. His high school career ended with 2,237 yards, 29 touchdowns in passing, 964 yards and 13 touchdowns in the grass.
Edelman’s love of soccer did not end in high school. In the little time, he was there, he played for San Mateo College. He played 1,312 yards and 14 touchdowns before moving to Kent State University to study business administration.
At Kent State University, he was a quarterback for three years. He later became the leading passer of the Golden Flashes, scoring nearly 60% of the passes (56% to be exact – 153 of 275 passes over 1,820 yards), 13 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. He also became a leading rusher, winning 1,370 yards on 215 attempts (averaging 6.4 yards per carry) and scoring 13 touchdowns. It is said that these numbers broke Joshua Cribbs’ 2003 school record for one season.
In 2009 Edelman joined the New England Patriots. In August of the same year, he scored his first professional points in a pre-season game against the Philadelphia Eagles but was unable to continue the season due to a broken arm.
A few years later (2013) Edelman became a hero when he scored both New England Patriots touchdowns in a 23-21 win over the Buffalo Bills. He became the NFL leader with 13.0 yards per lap on the average of the point returns in his career, surpassing the 12.8-yard average of former Chicago Bear George McAfee.
The following year Edelman played 14 games for the Patriots, scoring 92 receptions for 972 yards and 4 touchdowns. He finished the 2016 season with 98 catches and scored receptions for 98 yards.
In 2017, Edelman reviewed a two-year contract extension with the Patriots for $11 million. While this extended his stay on the team and satisfied a large part of the New England Patriots’ fan base, many were disappointed when it turned out that the 2017 season did not end well for the wide receiver. He suffered an ACL injury during the New England Patriots’ preseason game against the Detroit Lions. For this reason, he will not participate in the 2018 Super Bowl game. Too bad, huh?
Julian Edelman’s Wife, Girlfriend, Daughter
Edelman was never married, so there is no wife or ex-wife anywhere. But the good-looking athlete has dated a few women in the past.
He went out with the Swedish model Ella Rose, with whom he had a daughter named Lily. She was born on November 30, 2016. Before Rose, Edelman was romantically involved with AnnaLynne McCord. That was in the year 2014.
Meanwhile, it is known that the star of The Pats was in a relationship with the Brazilian model, Adriana Lima, from 2016 to early 2017. Rumors say that the relationship broke up when Lima wanted a child and Edelman refused. It is said that the man stated that he did not want to have any more children. Lima did not agree with this, and the love broke down. At the time of writing this report, there is no reason to doubt that Julian Edelman is single.
Height, Weight and Net Worth
The 34-year-old NFL player is 1.73 m tall and weighs around 90 kg.

In 2014 his annual salary was $1 million. Later it rose to $3 million in 2017. Edelman has earned over $9 million through his sponsorship contracts with companies such as Puma, Google Glass, and many others.
This guy knows how to spend his money by giving himself a well-deserved reward after each season. In 2015 he bought a luxury condo in Boston’s Back Bay. With a living space of 2000 square meters, the condo has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Although the exact price of the condo is not known, it is generally believed that the star bought the house for $2.2 million.
As for his cars, Edelman owns an Audi Q7, BMW, Porsche, and Ferrari.
