Joey Bragg became known in his hometown as a stand-up comic before he began a successful acting career in film and television. He was born on July 20, 1996, as Joseph Franklin Bragg in Union City, the sunny state of California, the son of a Jewish family. As an adolescent, Joey has the innate ability to break one or two ribs, either by what he says or simply does. A few months after his 13th birthday, he began performing as a stand-up comic and later decided to enter competitions in his hometown to try his joke on others. In this way, he not only won comedy competitions throughout the Bay Area of San Francisco but also gained fame as a young comedian among the locals.

Braggs was not only good at eliciting humor, but also at skating. At the age of 12, he participated in the California Cougars Pee Wee “B” field hockey championship. In 2012 he was cast as Karl in the unsold Disney XD television pilot Gulliver Quinn and later that year he played the role of Peter Magoo in the television movie Fred 3: Camp Fred. The following year, however, he signed a contract with fame when he appeared in the Disney Channel sitcom Liv and Maddie as Joey Rooney in the years the series aired (2013-2017). His fans also know him by the names of his characters such as Joey Rooney and Magoo.

After fighting for his ticket to fame with Liv and Maddie, Bragg was given several roles during the years he was on the show. In 2014 he resumed his role as Joey in an episode of Jessie and co-headlined the Disney XD TV movie Mark & Russell’s Wild Ride (2015) as Mark Wellner. Also in 2015, he starred in the high school baseball movie The Outfield as Austin York alongside Nash Grier and Cameron Dallas. Before the end of his famous series, he also starred in the 2016 TV series Criminal Minds as Kyle Ekland in the role of Kyle Ekland in the police procedural drama. In 2017 he was cast as Seth in 3 of the 8 episodes of the satirical comedy Netflix web TV series “Wet Hot American Summer”: Ten years later.

He was cast as Ben in another Netflix project, this time in a movie called Father of the Year 2018, in which Bridgit Mendler starred as his love interest and Jared Sandler as his boyfriend. He also appeared in the Nickelodeon series The Thundermans as Balfour The Gamer in the episode The Thunder Games. The film Reach, in which he portrays Richard, is in the post-production phase.

Bragg is a man of many talents and fully appreciates his abilities. In addition to the many works for which he is famous, he is also good at photography. Although he is not yet a professional in this field, he takes good and impressive pictures in various styles and postures. He is also a member of the Disney Channel’s Circle of Stars music group.

She is from Tennessee and is also an actress. The duo met on the set of Liv and Maddie in 2013 and have been together ever since. There is the possibility of a possible marriage, as Joey did in his contribution to Whitby’s 21st. Audrey also played the lead in The Thundermans.

During his early years as an actor and just before he met Audrey, gay rumors about him persisted for a while, probably because of his distinctive facial features. In a Twitter post in 2012, however, he refuted these claims and made his orientation as a heterosexual clear.
