Esther Ku Age and Bio

Esther Ku was born on February 17, 1980, in Chicago, USA, as the daughter of Korean missionary parents. At the time of writing this article, she is 37 years old.

She reportedly began performing stand-up comedy at the age of 13 during her school’s eighth-grade talent show. In an interview, she revealed how her entire comedy career began, her family being her inspiration. She said that she wrote articles in high school and that people praised her for her wit and then decided that she could actually be a comedienne. She ended up taking courses in adult education on stand-up comedy because she felt that she didn’t know how to find the open microphones.

Ku also revealed that she started out with an open mic in Boston and that she initially thought it was difficult to create a character on stage, but over time she realized that she needed to be herself and simply take on her natural abilities.

In her early days, it was said that Esther Ku had been fired from her then job as a sales representative for Sharpie because she had allegedly laughed too much. She also claimed that this was a test for her then intended profession as a comedienne.

In 2006 she was selected for NBC’s Stand-up for Diversity Showcase, and in 2011 she was master of ceremonies for a show in New York based on Asian heritage, featuring Jenny Choi and Peerlander-Z.

Esther Ku played the role of Tracy in the Jack and Triumph Show, although the show did not get beyond seven episodes. Ku has also appeared in several shows and short films.

The spotlight finally fell on Esther Ku when she was a finalist on “Last Comic Standing”, an NBC reality show designed to find the country’s craziest and funniest comedian. She dropped out in the first round, but this never stopped her from choosing stand-up comedy as her profession.

Esther Ku later became a finalist in shows like NBC’s Last Comic Standing Season 6 and Howard Stern’s Hottest Funniest Chick Contest on Sirius Satellite Radio.

It is said that Ku spent her time rewriting the lyrics of her favorite Oldies songs and that she shared this comedy album, which she called “Oldies Parodies” and which is available on iTunes.

She currently lives in Brooklyn and travels the world to entertain audiences with her “bratty charm” and “infamous” loud laughter.

When it comes to jokes, she practically jokes about everything, although some people actually don’t find her jokes amusing and have racist content. When she had a show at Jimbo’s in 2006, she joked that she was Asian and had to deal with it;

“I don’t really like being Asian, but I’m kinda stuck with it. The only good thing about being Asian is that it helps you get into College”

She also said, “Nigerian babies cost about 25 cents a day, Asian babies cost a lot more because they pay off,” but she asked if she had gone too far.

Boyfriend

Because of the way she sometimes jokes about everything, it’s still unclear if she has a boyfriend or not, because on her Twitter page she always talks about the search for one and the things they will do together, among other things.

This still remains a mystery, as we don’t know her relationship status yet, but if she has a boyfriend, I really can’t say how he would feel about these posts, or can we say that he has already gotten used to them?

We know that she has managed to keep this secret, and we are of course waiting for her to make jokes or say something serious about it.

Esther Ku Family

We could only conclude that her parents were Korean, missionaries and that they had a strong sense of humor. Ku always said that one of the reasons she was interested in comedy was because her parents and siblings teased each other when they could, she called them “natural comedians.
