Today, Taylor Dooley is one of those actresses who love adventure films, and her fans, in general, would love to see a comeback on our television screens. But while we’re waiting, let many others who may not know her know who she is, and also let them know what we’ve found out about where she is now.

Who Is Taylor Dooley?

Her birth sign is Pisces, which means that she was born in the second half of February, specifically February 26, 1993. Taylor’s birth name is Taylor Marie Dooley, and she was born in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, in the United States of America as a white American. She grew up with her parents John and Debbie Dooley, who also had her younger brother named Drew in 1994. From her father’s side, she is Irish, German, English, and Sioux Indian, while from her mother’s side she has a touch of Belgian, German, and English descent.

Like most privileged American children, whose parents quickly realize what they are naturally suited for, Taylor’s parents enrolled her in acting classes at the age of nine. Later she also attended the Performance Troop of the Phoenix Theater to study dance and acting, and where she honed her acting skills even more with short roles in commercials.

Taylor Dooley attracted a lot of public attention when she appeared in a nationwide commercial for Famous Footwear and also in an advertisement for the clothing line Mary-Kate and Ashley, Honda’s minivan Odyssey, and Disney Superstar Kids. Through these engagements, the Michigan-born actress, in the cradle of her short-lived acting career, made friends with actresses like the now-celebrated AnnaSophia Robb, Sasha Pieterse, and Ryan Newman.

Taylor began by appearing in a small role in the medical drama series House M.D., which also featured Hugh Laurie. With the move to the Golden State (California) in 2005, Tayboo (nickname) was cast as Lavagirl in the fantasy family adventure film The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lava Girl, alongside TV favorites such as Taylor Lautner, Cayden Boyd, David Arquette, Kristin Davis, and George Lopez. In the years that followed, she gained such enormous fame that people longed to see her in more roles so that more time on the screen was available for her.

We saw Taylor Dooley again in Apology, the horror/comedy Monster Night, and White Paddy. Next came a guest appearance as Rachelle in the 2008 TV series “House”, the sequel to the 2009 movie “The Alyson Stoner Project”, in which she was on set and the cameras were running in front of the camera for the last time (for a long time) when the audience saw Taylor Dooley on the screen.

Where Is She Now?

After the disappearance of the former superheroine (character Lavagirl) from the TV screens of her fans and the general movie audience, questions began to arise about where Taylor Dooley is and what she is up to right now. Our results showed that she was taking some time off to concentrate on her studies, finish high school, and get into college.

In college she studied psychology and discovered a connection to what she loved about acting, “understanding people and what drives them,” said Taylor Dooley, which made her study of psychology more interesting.

During this time, she also met industry greats such as Ivana Chubbuck, Leigh Kilton Smith, and Cameron Thor at various times.
