The Hubley season is one of those actresses that many believed were one good role away from becoming an actress. However, the New York-born actress remained reclusive for most of her nearly three-decade career and was never quite able to reach the heights that many people had imagined.

Hubley, who also worked as a singer during a career that lasted from 1972 to 1999, is best known for her role in the 1979 television biographical film Elvis, in which she plays the role of Priscilla Presley, the partner of legendary musician Elvis Presley, played by her husband, actor Kurt Russell.

How Season Hubley Launched Her Acting Career

Season Hubley seems to have been inspired to pursue a career in the performing arts partly due to the fact that her father was a writer. It is not clear, however, whether the young girl was able to receive all the training necessary to gain a foothold in the film world, as there is no record of her ever having been trained in the theatre or having attended a theatre program at school.

Born on March 14, 1951, in the Big Apple, Hubley was given her first acting role in the television movie Bobby Jo and the Good Time Band in 1972, where she played the title role of Bobby Jo. In the same year, she also appeared in an episode of the sitcom The Partridge Family. In 1973, the actress appeared in two films, first in Lolly-Madonna XXX, where she again played the title character, and then in She Lives! where she appeared as Pam Rainey. Other projects in the 1970s included Catch My Soul (1974), the ABC drama series Family (1976-1977), SST: Death Flight (1977), Hardcore (1979), Elvis (1979), and Mrs. R’s Daughter (1979).

In the 1980s, industry insiders believed that the Hubley season was just one good role away from being the next big thing, as it had been mostly in supporting roles during the 1970s. The actress began the decade with roles in Escape from New York (1981) and Vice Squad (1982) before appearing in television films such as A Caribbean Mystery (1983), The Three Wishes of Billy Grier (1984), and The Key to Rebecca (1985). Unfortunately, it was clear to everyone during this decade that Hubley was not entirely suited for the big stage, as she was unable to play lead roles in major projects.

The next major project season in which Hubley performed was the long-running soap opera All My Children (1992-1994), in which she played the role of Angelique Voynitzheva Marick. She then appeared in an episode of Beverly Hills in 1998, 90210, and in 1999 in the revival series Flipper, before deciding to end her career.

Details About Season Hubley’s Marriages and Why They Failed

Season Hubley was married twice and divorced twice. Her first marriage was with Emmy and Golden Globe Award nominee actor Kurt Vogel Russell, with whom she started on the set of Elvis, where they played in love affairs; Priscilla and Elvis Presley. When the film was released, Hubley and Russell decided to take their love to the next level by exchanging their marriage vows on March 17, 1979.

About a year after their marriage, the couple welcomed a son named Boston Russell on February 16, 1980. Everything seemed to go well in Russell’s household until 1983 when the separation was announced.

After their divorce from Russell, Season Hubley stayed away from any romantic affairs until her path crossed with that of actor David Hayball. It is not known exactly when the two began dating, but Hayball finally convinced Hubley to marry him and they were married in 1992. Unfortunately, the actress’s second marriage attempt was no different from the first, as it ended in divorce. The couple gave up in 1994 and the actress has remained single since then.

What We Know About Her Son

Season Hubley’s only child, Boston Russell, was raised by his mother away from the spotlight. Regardless of the fact that his parents divorced when he was very young, he could still have a very good relationship with his father who later entered a long-term relationship with the actress and producer Goldie Hawn. Boston and his father’s child with Hawn, the actor and former hockey player Wyatt Russell, and actress Kate Hudson, who is Hawn’s daughter from a previous marriage, have a very healthy relationship.

With everyone in the family having once had or are still enjoying careers in the acting and filmmaking business, Boston opted to get into the family business, making a living as an actor. He has, however, not been as successful as other members of his family as he is only known for his work on Executive Decision (1996) which featured his father and Steven Segal in starring roles.
