Travis Shaw’s Age and Early Life
The American professional baseball player was born in 1990 under the full name of Travis Richard Shaw on April 16, 1990, at Washington Court House, Ohio, United States of America, as the son of Julie Shaw and Jeff Shaw. His father Jeff Shaw played in the MLB and twice won the All-Star Pitcher title during his baseball career.
Travis Shaw received his high school education at Washington High School, which is the same school his father attended. He went to the State University of Kent and joined the school’s baseball team. He ended his college career with a batting average of 0.307 in 63 games for his college team Golden Flashes.

In 2011 Travis Shaw made the leap into the MLB when he was selected by the Boston Red Sox in the 9th round of the MLB Draft. Travis was also named as one of the best players in the Red Sox Minor League in the 2011/2012 season, and his game made progress when he finally took first place in the Red Sox Minor League in 2014.
