The young white American star discovered his talent as an actor for the first time after acting in a high school production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. He grew up with his brother in the suburbs of Plano but later moved to Los Angeles with his family and a golden retriever named Sadie. There he pursued a career as an actor.
