On November 10, 1983, Rick and Bev (nee Hughes) Lambert welcomed their daughter Miranda Leigh Lambert into the world. Originally born in Longview, Lambert and her parents would later move to Lindale, Texas. She is of English, Irish and Indian descent. The singer grew up well with her parents, who worked as private detectives until the oil crisis hit Texas and her family lost everything, including their home. It was a difficult time for Miranda, her parents, and her younger brother Luke as they spent several months moving from one friend’s or relative’s house to another.
