Michelle Visage began her high school studies at an art-oriented high school in South Plainfield, New Jersey, from where she studied at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in Manhattan. Immediately after graduating, Michelle Visage embarked on a trip to New York to begin her career as an actress, which she has continued to pursue over the years.
The lady from New Jersey, fresh out of school, auditioned for her first job in an all-girl music group called Seduction. She got a place in the group and joined the dance vocal trio that was signed to A&M Records in 1990. After the split, she worked as a guest singer with freestyle dancer TKA and performed on the song Crash (Have Some Fun).
