The NBA star was born as Jimmy Butler III on September 14, 1989, in Houston, Texas. When he grew up, Butler had the world against him, because his father left the family when he was a toddler. Since he had no money or family, he continued to live with various friends as he made ends meet every day. During his time on the team, he was named the NBA Most Improved Player of 2015, and from 2015 to 2018 he was named the NBA All-Star.

In 2017, Butler was transferred to the Minnesota Timberwolves, with whom he still plays. He made it in 2017 and 2018 in two All-NBA Third Teams and from 2015 to 2018 in 4 NBA All-Stars.

While there are conspiracy theories on social media about how Michael Jordan might actually be the father of Jimmy Butler, the fact is that there are no facts to support this. What is known is that his father left him when he was a toddler and that his mother is Londa Butler.

According to this, the first person that comes to his mind as a mother is Michelle Lambert, who is also the mother of Leslie Jordan when she took him in. Yet he did not hold a grudge against his birth mother or even his father, whom he supposedly still loves.

Butler has no wife and has never been married. But he had gone out with several women in the past. In 2016 he was associated with the actress Shay Mitchell, with whom he was seen on numerous occasions. However, their relationship did not last long before it came to an end. Before Shay Mitchell, he had a relationship with Charmaine Piula in 2015.
