If you are a Disney fan, you probably know Dove Cameron, one of the young stars of today who owes his fame to Disney. Cameron is best known for his double title role in the Disney sitcom Liv and Maddie. But Cameron’s teenage years are over, and we have all witnessed her transition into adulthood. This transition was not far from that of a typical Disney star. Cameron has already experienced her first engagement breakup. What’s worse? She was plagued by rumors that she had to undergo several plastic surgeries, which would be the main topic of this article.
Dove Cameron Before Plastic Surgery
Rumors about Dove undergoing plastic surgery began to circulate as early as 2012, around the same time she was given the double role in the Disney sitcom that was to become her groundbreaking role.
It could be argued that 16 years is too early an age to start changing physical appearance, and also an option that many parents will not consider. Be that as it may, Cameron’s parents, especially her mother, who moved the entire family from Washington to LA in search of better career prospects for her daughter, seem to be the kind of parents who don’t mind changing a thing or two about their daughter’s appearance to prepare her for Hollywood. After all, she is the author of the book “The Hollywood Parents Guide”: Her Roadmap to Realizing Your Child’s Dream.”
A comparison of Cameron’s childhood photo and her recent appearance shows that the Disney star may have made some changes to her nose and lips. Although Cameron hasn’t confirmed any of the rumors, the pictures are quite obvious. Others have even speculated that Dove may have had more than just a nose job and lip surgery, including a dimpled nose job and changes to her eyelid area.
Cameron’s nose has undergone an obvious evolution over the years. Sometimes the bridge of the nose appears flat, and sometimes they seem to disappear completely, which is often the case with people who have had nose surgery.
While it’s true that make-up contributes enormously to how the nose looks, it’s obvious that Dove may have gone under the knife to make her nose look even more chiseled.
Her lips just look much fuller, especially the lower lips. Fuller’s lips have been a thing in Hollywood for years, and maybe Cameron just thought she should look a lot more like Angelina Jolie or the Kardashians to improve her chances. That obviously worked.
Dove Cameron Bio
Dove Cameron was born Chloe Celeste Hosterman on January 15, 1996, in Seattle, Washington, as the daughter of Philip Alan Hosterman and Bonnie Wallace. Cameron was 8 years old when she began performing at Bainbridge Performing Arts in the community theater. As a child, she was often called Dove or Dovey by her father. When he died in 2011, Cameron changed her name from Chloe to Dove in his honor.
At the time of her father’s death, Dove was already in LA to improve her chances of realizing her dream of becoming an actress and singer. “I became very passionate [about becoming an actress and singer]. I have fully immersed myself,” she was told about her career.
After landing in LA, Dove got small roles on TV shows such as Shameless, The Mentalist, and Malibu Country before getting her groundbreaking role in Liv and Maddie. Dove took advantage of her Disney fame and began a music career at the same time. Her cover of Imagine Dragons’ “On Top of the World” climbed to 17th place on the Billboard Kid Digital song charts. Dove made her movie debut in “Barely Lethal” in 2015.
She starred as Maleficent’s daughter in the Disney TV movie “Descendants”. Dove sang a few songs on the soundtrack of the film, which debuted on the Billboard 200, making it the first Disney movie soundtrack to do this feat since High School Musicals 2. Together with her boyfriend at the time and Liv and Maddie co-star Ryan McCartan, Dove formed the band The Girl and the Dreamcatcher in 2015. The band released numerous singles and an EP in July 2016. After Dove’s separation from Ryan in October 2016, they split up. However, she wants to start a solo music career.
Dove has resumed her role in the sequel to Descendants from 2017 and sings the character of Mal in Descendants: Bad World.
