She is the daughter of Mildred Josephine (Coiro) and Samuel Eugene Gallo.

Carla’s paternal grandparents were Giuseppe Gallo and Pauline M. Crane. Giuseppe was Italian, from Trapani, Sicily. Pauline and her parents were born in Ohio and were of German origin.

Months turned into years and years became more years until in early 2000 – six years after her debut film – another film role in the short film The Fanatical Teachings of Julian Tau directed by Adam Hammel and Keith J. Knight was added. This was her big breakthrough. Her admirable portrayal of the character of Bunnie Jeffrie in the film was enhanced by the overall performance of the project, and she soon began to receive many offers for film roles.

Since then she has played roles in major film projects. One of these films was the globally successful and widely acclaimed 2006 film Mission Impossible III, in which she played the role of Beth (in case you missed her face).
