Blake Jenner was born on 27 August 1992 in Miami, Florida, United States of America. Even as a small child he was inspired by Jim Carrey and Michael Jackson to become an entertainer. He went to school at the Felix-Varela-Highschool and was part of the acting company of the school, where he took part in school productions throughout his school days. He also participated in acting classes in middle and high school and worked as a model for several commercials during this time. Blake Jenner was also involved in the sports team of his school, where he played football and wrestling. To continue his career, he attended both day and evening classes, including several online courses, so he could finish his studies early and focus on his career and passion for acting. As a young actor, he moved to Los Angeles in search of better career opportunities, where he had to do various jobs, such as being a waiter, working in a clothing store, a fast food outlet, and working as a parrot seller in a store to make ends meet.

Blake’s acting career officially began after high school in 2010 when he made his first appearance as Conor in the movie Fresh 2 Death. He also got the role of Miller Collins in the comedy series Melissa & Joey, which put him on the road to fame. However, his fame was widely acclaimed when he starred in the television series Glee, in which he played the role of a football player and lead singer Ryder from 2012-2015. He has also appeared in several other films, including the 2011 Wurlitzer, where he played the roles of Alexander Moore and cousin Sarah, in which he appeared as Brett Marks, the short film The Truth In Being Right, in which he played the role of Jeffrey, and the 2014 film Love at First Sight, in which he appeared as Sydney Reynold. In 2016, Blake starred in the films Everybody Wants Some!! as Jake Bradford, The Edge of Seventeen as Darian Franklin, and Within as Tommy. The actor also starred in The Vanishing of Sydney Hall, the movie Billy Boy, which he also wrote and produced, and American Animals, which was released in 2018.
Blake Jenner is also the proud winner of the Teen Choice Award 2013 for the series Glee as Teen Choice TV- Breakout Star and the winner of the San Diego Film Festival 2017 award for Rising Star.
