Yet she didn’t just become famous overnight, her story is one of determination and hard work. She has done her best to build a brand for herself that has paid off over time. Here is her story.
Amanda Bucci’s Biography
Bucci was born on July 6, 1993, in Rhode Island. Her mother’s name is Linda, while her father’s name is unknown. Amanda and her sister Danielle both grew up in the smallest US state of Rhode Island.
Born and raised with a natural athletic talent, Bucci tried her hand at a number of sports activities such as lacrosse and soccer but soon realized that she was not cut out for team sports and looked for an alternative.
When she was only fifteen years old, her grandfather, a former world champion strength lifting gym owner, encouraged her to join a local gym, and this was the beginning of her career in the fitness world. She spent the following years lifting and exercising to achieve her dream figure. During this time she learned the three major lifts: Bench press, cross lift, and knee bends, which was very helpful on her way.
As she progressed, her parents encouraged her to participate in a fitness show, and in 2013, at the age of twenty, Amanda Bucci signed up for the show and made her debut in two divisions: the bikini novice A-class and the bikini debut. Although she was an amateur, she won second place in the bikini debut category and a trophy in the bikini newcomer A-class category.
These successes motivated her to choose a career in athletics and to reach more and more people willing to take a fitness trip. In 2015, Bucci earned a nursing degree from the University of Rhode Island. She justified her decision to choose nursing as a career in nursing rather than another degree program with her natural inclination to care for others and the knowledge that it was a steady job in which she would find fulfillment.
Amanda soon gave up her nursing career because of her entrepreneurship, as she realized that a traditional career path was the opposite of what she wanted. In the following years, she entered more competitions (six to be exact), finished in the top three overall, and added two more trophies to her collection.
Then she got more and more involved in the world of fitness and started fitness coaching and training. To raise awareness and give herself some visibility, she took her work to social media and was all over YouTube and Instagram to share her thoughts and life experiences with the world.
Today, Amanda Bucci is the founder and CEO of Bucci Radio Podcast, where she interviews guests, tells personal/professional advertising stories, provides training, and offers fitness consulting. She also runs an online fitness coaching academy, which offers a certificate program for fitness trainers and an online influencer academy for prospective fitness trainers.
In 2017 she signed up for a mastermind program with the legendary master of greatness – Lewis Howes. According to her, his coaching program opened her mind to the magic of business, entrepreneurship, and how she can influence her world through creation. She has founded three more companies to reach even more of those who, like herself, are called to make a greater impact.
